It is the year 2046, and the world is much the same as it is now. Politics are screwed up, new epidemics are popping up a mile a minute, and people are becoming more and more dependant on technology. Just like people would have predicted, yes?
But one thing that people would never have guessed would be the dramatic reduction in high-level crime. Suddenly, nobody was trying to hack the pentagon; no whack jobs trying to assassinate high-level people for the hell of it. No wars have begun in five years.
Is this because of some dramatic increase of the competence of law enforcement? Don’t make us laugh. Is it because of some sort of Death Note-esque “Kira” making criminals fear for their lives? Of course not; that would be absurd. Are the leaders of countries just going to settle their disputes peacefully from now on, and the idea has caught on? Yes and no, but that is only part of the answer. The real answer is much simpler: somebody has a monopoly on the high-level crime market.
Enter the Syndicated Intelligence Network, an alliance of elite criminals across the globe. Its existence is kept hidden from the public because governments don’t want their citizens to know just how powerful it is. It has enough power to effectively smother all of the world powers; and the world leaders know it. But they can never be sure of who is a member and who is not, and the world’s politics have shifted to trying to catch the leaders of the movement. Several governments have collectively founded an organization called "V.I.R.T.U.E." whose sole purpose is tracking down S.I.N.
Initially, they took little notice of the demands of the organization; thinking that they were merely bluffing when they said that they had plans to take over the world, and were already far enough along to manage it. Until their own security held them at gunpoint, forcing them to agree to their demands, that is.
Now, they find themselves catering to the whims of the seven leaders, who they only know by codename and area of affiliation. Gluttony, handling North American affairs. Lust in South America. Avarice in Europe. Wrath in Africa. Envy in Asia. Sloth in Australia. And Pride, the leader of them all…
But who are these deadly seven, and why do they strive for control? Is it for the power, or the money?
Or maybe, because they were a bunch of genius sorority girls with too much time on their hands, and what started out as a prank spiraled out of control…
These seven sorority girls are trying to balance classes, homework, their love lives, and world domination. If you choose to live the college life, you will interact with them as the genius prodigies the school has them pegged as.
On the world domination end, you will have to choose a side. If you choose to be a S.I.N. agent, you will spend your time doing missions across the globe. If you choose to work for a government or V.I.R.T.U.E., you will also be doing some globetrotting: just trying to catch S.I.N. agents, and find out who and where the elusive leaders are.
Are you ready to begin?
Welcome, then, to the Den of Sin.
